Apple Day

Today is the end of Daylight Saving Time in the UK, and we happily spent our extra hour visiting Apple Day at the University Botanic Gardens.  We were able to taste nearly 30 different types of apples collected from orchards all over the region, and bought some of our favourites to take home with us.  They had warm apple cider, hard cider, baked apple treats, cheeses, honey, food trucks, a live band, and (for some reason?) also some falcons and owls on display.  It was a beautiful autumn day, perfect for enjoying some apples and the fantastic colours in the gardens.
