Apple Day II

Now that we’ve been here more than a year, we can start reliving some of our favourite Cambridge activities. One that is sure to become a tradition is Apple Day at the Botanic Garden.

We got to taste close to 30 types of apples, enjoyed some delicious cake and coffee by the pond, and saw some cute animals at the petting zoo. Can’t ask for much more on a beautiful Sunday in October.

We’re already looking forward to Apple Day next year, and we’ll have to find something like this back in the US someday. I guess we could always try creating our own Apple Day, too! 🙂

Matt took careful notes while we were tasting so we could buy our favourites at the end. I think we came home with about 20 apples, so it’s fair to say we liked quite a few!
