We were recently invited to join a friend for dinner at Christ’s College here in Cambridge. He is a new Fellow of the college which means he gets some special privileges and wanted to share them with us.
The school year had just ended and most of the students had left for the summer, so instead of eating in the large hall, we had a small dinner party with a few other people in the Fellows’ room. It was this beautiful old room with dark wood paneling and a massive fireplace. There was even a secret doorway that led to the dining hall! We had a nice four course meal with some drinks after dinner, and a good chance to meet and talk to all of the other guests.
Unfortunately, we were such a small group that I didn’t feel comfortable taking pictures during dinner. However, before the dinner we took a stroll through the Fellow’s Garden and I snapped a couple photos there.
