We spent one last day at Lake Como before heading back home to the UK and decided to see a few things around Como. We took the funicular up the side of one of the surrounding hills to get a view of Como and the southern part of the lake. It was another bright and sunny day, and we could see for miles across the countryside – a beautiful end to our Italian getaway!

On our way to the train station we came across this swan’s nest and saw the changing of the guard. They seem to have a nice little spot – I guess life would be pretty nice as a Lake Como swan!
